| | I use Brooks' Adrenalines,and decided to try these...For 40$ they are well worth it,although I still prefer my Adrenalines! |
| very good deal | 2008-12-27 | 5 / 5 |
| The shoes r the best. They look much better in real life. I wore them to the mall to compare and they r the best shoes compared to anything i could find in finishline store
Nice to run in too
I paid around $40 so it is truely a steal |
| great running shoes | 2008-12-19 | 4 / 5 |
| | I run about 5-6 days a week, anywhere between 25 to 50 miles per week. I'm 5'6 and weigh 130 lbs. I overpronate and have been messing around a lot with different stability shoes over the years. I've tried asics GT 2120, kayano 12-14, brooks adrenaline gts 7, adidas supernova control, Nike structure triax 10, saucony progrid guide, la sportiva crossroad, raceblade, sonic TR and am currently on mizuno wave inspire 5. These shoes feels similar to the kayanos in terms of the amount of support, but lighter. It's less cushy than the adrenaline 7 and progrid guide, but more than la sportivas. Less flexible and sensitive than the mizunos. Still a good shoe, but I honestly believe sometimes cheaper shoes (around the 100 dollar range) are better than the high end ones (140 bucks -- kayano, hurricane, trance). Not only are they lighter and more simplistic, but sometimes when they try to pack all their best technology into a single shoe they over do it. But perhaps I'm just not heavy enough to appreciate the extra support they provide. STill, at 40 bucks for a shoe like this, you're silly for not getting em. |

| | Brooks Trance are a comfortable and efficient model. I have also found these running shoes to be quite durable. I purchsed a new insole to put in my last pair, and they still feel great after several hundred miles of runs. These shoes are normally expensive, but worth it if you can find a deal on them. I found these online for $40 when they retailed last year for about $135. If you have a model you like, that fit well, it pays to search online for older models that are overstocked. |
| Sweet Shoe!! | 2008-11-20 | 5 / 5 |
| I'm not an avid runner, but after running a 5K with NO training, I was told I should run more often. The biggest piece of advise... GET A GOOD PAIR OF RUNNING SHOES. I did some research, and found this shoe to be a good match for my running style and size (I'm 6'1" and 205lbs). Go on Brooks website. They have a neat tool to help pick the right shoe.
I just got these, and haven't run any real distance with them, but let me tell you... these felt great right out of the box! The size was true, and the fit was incredible. Good looking shoe. My 5yr old son said they look like a girls' shoe, but I (and my wife) think they look cool. At the current price, I'm considering buying another for a spare. |
